Overview

Assists in executing the Wounded Warrior Regiment’s RCC program in compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008, DODI 1300.24 and US Marine Core policies and procedures. This includes the collection and reviewing of RCC performance data and working with WWR to tailor processes to meet specific Marine Wounded Warriors and family needs and deliver the highest possible quality of care support. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RCCs working on projects involving MDT
  • Plans and monitors schedules of contractor personnel
  • Organizes project activities depending on deadline requirements
  • Organizes periodic project progress meetings with WWR
  • Liaison between RCC program management office and battalion lead RCCs and assures that all work is satisfactorily completed according to PWS specifications and
  • Assists in the coordination of all personnel necessary to assure quality of service to the WII and family

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field that focuses on policy, planning, and program operations
  • Experience in formulating equal opportunity policies and guidelines for plans, procedures, and methods.
  • Experience coordinating team efforts in conducting comprehensive studies dealing with significant changes in workforce distribution, positions, or related organizational structures.
  • Experience developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long/short range implementation and administration of a major agency
  • Instruction/Facilitation in program management, informal resolution, conflict management, diversity management, organizational assessments, and operated as an administrative liaison within DOD

Preferred Qualifications

Military experience desired

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
