General Clerk III will perform Electronic File Retention.
Scan supporting documentation received to support pay and personnel transactions into the electronic retention system (TRIM) and assign the appropriate retention identifier for archiving and retrieval.
Use of government specific software or database
Make selections of appropriate methods from a wide-variety of procedures or make simple adaptations and interpretation of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals.
High School Diploma or GED
Familiarity with office terminology
Able to communicate both orally and in writing
Experience with Microsoft Office Products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point
Able to interact with others and to explain complex actions taken in regard to a military member's entitlements, allowances, or collections
Knowledge and experience with grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and military terminology commonly used within office settings to prepare material correctly.
Knowledge or experience with standard office equipment such as computers, electric typewriters, copiers, fax machines, and other office automation systems to perform a substantial range of office automation support
Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
