Overview

MANCON is currently seeking qualified applicants for review and consideration to fill an Administrative Assistant position in the Mayport, FL Regional Contracting Site Office.  This position works in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, that requires excellent clerical and communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Office. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to site management staff
  • Maintenance and tracking of government and commercial contracts
  • Process invoices as scheduled and directed
  • Assist site managers with processing new hires, onboarding, and other basic personnel related tasks
  • Monitor and track time-sheet and leave requests
  • Ensure priorities and deadlines are met on a variety of programs and projects
  • Set up and maintain files related to projects
  • Monitor funding and other project deadlines
  • Monitor project expenditures and available balances
  • Evaluate and fulfill office supply and equipment needs
  • Handle incoming calls from a variety of sources and make appropriate referrals to management and departments
  • Create/type office correspondence
  • Send correspondence via mail, fax, scanner and other communication sources
  • Assist Government Personnel/Contract Personnel with administrative needs as requested
  • Process, track and liquidate employee travel vouchers and requests

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of work experience in an office setting
  • Two (2) years work experience performing tasks such as typing, administration, payroll, word processing, and customer service
  • Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and related data base systems to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook
  • Verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or experience with contract administration
  • Knowledge or experience with Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF/iRAPT)
  • Knowledge/experience with Government Contracting (T&M, FFP)
  • Knowledge/experience with Government Travel Regulations (JTR)

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
